Wildlife Talk

Gordon Forrest gave a talk on Upton Warren nature reserve, a local haven for birds and wildlife.

He told us that the reserve has a unique feature in that it has a fresh and a salt water lakes.

The natural salt springs that occur there were the same sort of salt springs that attracted the Romans many years ago to build brine/spa baths at Droitwich. This meant that you get a far wider range of birds to the reserve.

Thanks to Gordon for a fascinating talk and all those who came.
