CHRISTMAS QUIZ

What a better way to kick off December than a quiz with a Christmas theme.

There were eight rounds : mixed bag, Christmas TV, Christmas traditions, A Christmas carol, Pantomime, Christmas people and a picture round of `stars appearing in panto`.

In first place were the `Gumboilers`, second place were `In last position` and last place and winners of the dreaded wooden spoons, `We ain`t got one`. The first & second teams kindly donated their prize money back.Thank you to them.

We had a raffle with prizes of a Christmas cake donated by The Catering house, an M.S sweatshirt donated by the M.S. society and various other donated gifts. Thanks to The cookhouse for donating the wooden spoons, We also had Cyclamens to brighten up the tables and to sell at the end of the evening, thank you to Mr Chris Jones from Cofton nursery for the plant donations. Thanks to Melanie & Darren for supplying the questions for the `Christmas carol` round. Also not forgetting Mom, June, Ed & Yvonne for the lovely mince pies.

We raised a respectable total of £246.
