Irish Malt Whisky tasting night

Thanks to everyone who came along to our Irish whiskey night. Thanks to Ed for helping on the night, also a thank you to Bernard & Sue for their kind donations.

The whiskeys tasted were.

Lockes 8 year old single malt £25

Green spot £31 - One of the rarer Irish whiskies,

described by whisky writer Jim Murray as 'Unquestionably one of the world's great whiskeys.'

Jamesons gold £45

Connemara `92 single cask £42

Magillian peated malt £23

The Jamesons was the favourite on the night, with Green spot coming a close second.

With the raffle and a couple of donations included, we raised £102
