Homemade / Country wine talk

Friday 26th October

John from Dee-jays, a local homebrew shop that is also a supplier to the trade for over 40 years, gave a talk on how to make homemade/country wines. There was also an opportunity to ask John questions on this fascinating hobby.

There are five different categories in home brewing and we sampled one from each, plus a table wine.
Veg ~ Carrot, Flower ~ Elderflower, Vine ~ Bramble tip, Fruit ~ Blackberry, Grain ~ Rice.

Thanks to John for a fascinating talk, everyone who came along or/and bought a raffle ticket and Clive for the use of the room at the D.D.S.S club.
