Curry Night

7th September 2007

Yvonne cooked a Korma, Vegetable curry, chicken curry and a casserole, Jackie cooked a spicy beef madras and I cooked Desi Murgh ( special chicken curry )and chicken Murgh ka Salan. I also made a Mango lassi, which is yogurt drink with mangos and sugar, a type of smoothie you could call it.

Our good friend Mohammed donated and delivered the freshly made pekoras, samosas and nann breads, thanks Mohammed.

Thanks also to the Catshill butcher who donated the meat. To give the full story, he donated a voucher for our carnival raffle but because of the terrible weather the prize was not won. So we asked if we could use the voucher for this event.

With the raffle and kind donations we raised £139.87 Thanks to everyone who supported the night.
